Autumn Twilight

 "I had reached a limit with the Equus Series while still being drawn to the horse shapes.  I decided to use my new language in a specific context, the gorgeous Oklahoma landscape. "

The horse shapes used in the Landscape Series are abstracted to the point that they serve as the artist's personal language.  This painting depicts a cool autumn evening, the moon blazes in a sky transfixed between sunset and night.
