Tropical

 "After my dry spell during pregnancy, I let myself have a bit of fun. I chose subjects that were colorful."

Tropical carries on Kim Johns' figurative style but with smoother lines and vibrant blues, pinks, and oranges.  Although the figure remains featureless, the viewer can sense a delicate beauty.  By omitting the specific details of the face, the figure is both abstracted and more universal.  She lights up her environment.
