Equus Fuscus "I decided to let the horse forms out so that I could push them around and get a feel for them. " Equus is the Latin term for horse, while Fuscus is brown. The title translates as 'brown horse'. The artist chose a dead language for her title so that the casual observer would not bring any horse associations to the work. It allows the viewer to continually learn more about the piece.
